Health & Sexual Violence in Humanitarian Settings


  • Professionals working in humanitarian action or in an international organisation who, after a number of years in the field, wish to review their competences and reflect on their practice in an academic setting;
  • Staff of aid organisations or of NGOs in the social sector who wish to embark on a career in the humanitarian field;
  • Professionals from a range of sectors who would like to explore the humanitarian field before deciding on a career change.

Admission Requirements

  • Either a university qualification following three years of study plus at least two years of work experience in the humanitarian, social or development field or a university qualification following three years of study plus at least five years experience in another health sector and wish to transfer to the humanitarian sector.

  • English mother tongue or proof of level of competence through a TOEIC/TOEFL/IELTS certificate or other proof of English language competency if English is not the candidates' first language.


Incomplete applications will not be considered. The Selection Committee examines the quality of the application and aims to reach a balance between the numbers of men and women, educational profile and professional experience, geographical distribution and financial contribution. 20 candidates maximum are selected each year.
