To fulfil course requirements, MAS students must prepare and present a dissertation.

Dissertations should address questions related to humanitarianism. Within this broad field, the exact choice of subject is left to the student. Throughout the MAS, students receive courses in research methodology to support them with the research and writing process. 

In association with the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, CERAH offers an annual prize for the best dissertation written in French (the Prix de la Francophonie). 

In recognition of CERAH's bilingualism, there is also a prize for the highest quality dissertation written in English. 

CERAH will shortly publish a selection of the best dissertations submitted over the last five years on this website.
