Teaching

Since 1998 the training offered by CERAH has occupied the terrain between university education and the practical experience of professional humanitarian actors. Each of the programmes are constructed around the encounter between academics/researchers and field personnel within a problem-solving framework. Teaching, often using case studies, sets out to train students to construct theory and concepts with reference to current debates in the humanitarian world.
The teaching approach is thus dynamic, interactive, multidisciplinary and multicultural and seeks to mobilise the professional experience of each participant.
