Welcome to the Centre for Education and Research in Humanitarian Action (CERAH)

CERAH is the humanitarian platform in Geneva’s academic environment, offering a variety of training and diplomas and conducting multi-disciplinary research on topics of humanitarian action. In partnership with the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute (IHEID), CERAH has developed a wide range of courses specifically adapted to the needs of humanitarian professionals.

CERAH's Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Action (MAS) covers all aspects of humanitarian action while allowing students to specialise in areas of their choice.   The Diploma of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Action (DAS) allows humanitarian professionals to reflect on their professional experience and gain new insights as well as analytical skills.

The Certificates of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Action (CAS) offer professionals the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and aquire skills in specific areas of humanitarian action. CERAH also offers a series of intensive, one-week Thematic Seminars (TS) on specific subjects of high importance to contemporary humanitarianism.
